Why Elders React Badly to Medication

As people age they become more prone to infection and illness. When medication is prescribed an account has to be taken of the fact that older people sometimes react severely to the very drugs that intended to make them better.

People with Alzheimer's get sick too, but they may not always be in a position to articulate that their medication is disagreeing with them. This article looks at the reasons why elders are more sensitive to drugs and reasons why it's important to be vigilant.
