Nail & Hand Care Step-by-Step

Wednesday May 4, 2005
We all love to be pampered and like to look good. That rarely changes and people with Alzheimer's need and want to look and feel good too. The aim of Alzheimer's hand and nail care is to show them they are important, that they are important to you.

Having a relaxing activity gives the caregiver and the person with Alzheimer's a focus in which they can spend quality time together. If at any point in the activity the person with Alzheimer's wants you to stop you should. You can always come back to it later. All caregiving has to be tailored for the individual.

I hope you enjoy the images and tips I've put together for this step-by-step for nail and hand care.
