Choosing good nursing homes and care facilities is hard work. There are so many things you have to consider. It is a very stressful time for caregivers. You want the best care that your money can buy. You want someone with Alzheimer's disease to be as happy as possible, and you want them to have caregivers who look after their residents with love and attention.

Where to start? I have made a check list of all the main things you need to think about when choosing a nursing facility. Things like the nursing home's design, the training of caregivers, location, whether the care facility is a specialized unit for people with dementia such as Alzheimer's disease.
