Alzheimer's Garden-Gallery of Pictures of Babs' Garden

Friday November 24, 2006
Babs, a reader of Alzheimer's at About.com, has sent some fantastic pictures of her garden. She read the article I had written about garden design for people with dementia and disabilities and wanted to share them with us. She has created a garden full of textures, fragrance, wildlife and color. A garden that is a refuge for quiet reflection as well as for social activities.

Gardens are increasingly seen as an extension and integral part of your house; another living space. Babs shows how her garden design matches safety considerations with low maintenance. Raised planting areas and flat paving in a secure space with garden gates that can be locked are just some of the features. You will be impressed with the results, Alzheimer's Garden-Gallery of Pictures from Babs

Share photos and information about your garden design for people with Alzheimer's dementia and other disabilities.
