With Alzheimer's disease currently affecting over 40 million people worldwide and with the forecast for dementia set to double every 20 years questions have been asked whether it might be useful to set up a mass screening program. In this article I look into some of the issues that need to be considered in relation to screening for Alzheimer's disease.
