Our married life exceeded 50 years. We had a wonderful life together, raising two sons and traveling all over the world with the United States Air Force, the National Security Agency and Lockheed Martin Missile and Space Company.

Rita enjoyed her years as a military wife and Mother, while also taking courses in computer processing, the arts, painting and dressmaking. She also enjoyed genealogy research and antiques. Her life had always been very active, challenging and rewarding.

In 1995, we retired and settled down in a retirement community. We purchased a travel trailer, which we enjoyed for a few years, and then traded up to a motor home with intentions of seeing more of the United States. We were well-prepared to enjoy our retirement years.
