Cut the nails

Cut the nails with nail scissors or clippers

Gently hold the hands while you cut their nails. Remember to tell the person what you are doing and be careful not to cut the nails too short or make the experience unpleasant. Specially shaped scissors (as in the picture) may make the task easier, or you could use clippers.
  1. Prepare All Equipment in Advance
  2. Soak each hand in a bowl of warm soapy water
  3. Clean the nails
  4. Remove or push back the cuticles
  5. Cut the nails
  6. Apply nail varnish
  7. Moisturize the hands
