2005 Medicare Rates
Health and Human services has announced the 2005 Medicare premiums and the increase is a record 17% to $78.20 monthly for the Medicare Part B premium. This is the largest increase in Medicare history in part due to increases in reimbursements to physicians and hospitals for care. Other out of pocket costs will also increase for the 2005 fiscal year.
