Examples:
Some examples of antecedents include physical discomfort like hunger or pain, loud noises, room temperatures that are too hot or cold, a chaotic environment, fluorescent lights, unfamiliar surroundings, tasks that are overwhelming, or frustration over not being able to communicate an idea or need.
